KLM Gaya Baru Indah is a traditional Indonesian Phinisi built in 2013 and refitted in 2022, running small-group dive cruises through Raja Ampat and the Banda Sea. She takes a maximum of 8 guests in 2 double and 2 twin air-conditioned cabins, which keeps dive groups small and the boat relaxed. Diving is from two dinghies with three dives a day plus night dives, 22 tanks with DIN and Yoke valves, two compressors and a nitrox generator, with EAN32 nitrox free of charge on every dive. Cruises depart from Waisai in Raja Ampat or run as crossings between Sorong and Ambon through the Banda Sea, and the guides speak English, German, Korean and Indonesian.


Gear rental: Rental gear (per trip, paid onboard in cash IDR): full set USD 120, BCD USD 50, regulator USD 50, dive computer USD 50 (mandatory), 2.5mm shorty wetsuit USD 25, mask and fins free of charge. NAUI Nitrox Diver course USD 150 with prior booking.
Payments: Payments onboard are in cash Indonesian Rupiah; cards are not accepted on the ship. USD 100 notes printed 2017 or later are accepted. Extras can also be paid by bank transfer before the cruise. Due at check-in: Raja Ampat marine park fee 2,000,000 IDR per person and the fuel surcharge of 340,000 IDR or USD 20 per person per day.
