Teman is a 36-metre traditional Indonesian phinisi operated by PT The Teman Seas, sailing Komodo, Raja Ampat and the Banda Sea. She carries a maximum of 12 guests in five ensuite air-conditioned cabins, with a full-time crew of ten plus a Cruise Director and up to two dive guides. The boat is built for mixed groups: divers, snorkelers and leisure guests travel together, with a dedicated snorkelling guide on board from the first snorkeler and one of the two dinghies often assigned to snorkelers. Kayaks and stand up paddleboards are included on every cruise, and a beach BBQ and beach volleyball are offered when conditions allow. A solo guest can book Sulawesi as the whole cabin at 200% of the per-person rate, on request.





Gear rental: Dive equipment rental, per dive day: full equipment with dive computer EUR 40, full equipment EUR 30, dive computer EUR 10, BCD EUR 10, regulator EUR 10, wetsuit EUR 10, dive torch EUR 5, fins and booties EUR 5, mask EUR 5. Nitrox EUR 5 per tank. 15 L tank EUR 10 per day. Gear is limited on board and must be requested with sizes in advance; it is reserved once the cruise is paid.
Payments: We invoice in EUR. Payment goes mainly through Flywire, which charges each guest in the currency of where they live while Teman receives the full EUR amount; some clients prefer a direct bank transfer to our account. Individual open trip bookings: 30 percent deposit within 10 days of the invoice, balance due 90 days before departure. Inside 90 days of departure the full amount is due immediately. Mandatory fees and onboard extras are cash only on board (EUR, USD, IDR, SGD or AUD); there is no card terminal on the boat. Private charters: 30 percent at booking, 40 percent between 180 and 91 days before departure, balance 90 days before departure.
